Restaurant - Restaurant: Dornoch Castle has a growing reputation amongst the local populace and visitors alike and The Garden Restaurant is now recognised as one of the premier dining venues of the area and has retained Rosette status for the past 3 years. The Head Chef, prides himself in using local Scottish Highland produce and there are always Scottish seafood dishes to make your mouth water on the menu as well as Aberdeen Angus beef, Highland Venison and Lamb. There is an a la carte menu @¿ whether guests want that special candle-lit dinner in the Garden Restaurant, overlooking the formal walled gardens, or a more informal meal in comfortable surroundings in front of the roaring log fire. It is 45 minutes north of Inverness just off the A9, and 1 hour from Inverness Airport and is easily accessed by rail, road and air. Trains are available From Inverness to Tain, which is a 10-minute taxi ride from Dornoch and the coach from Inverness stops just along the street form the hotel.
